We’ve called Theresa to help us many, many times for all kinds of things.  She skunk-proofed our backyard, replaced broken electrical outlets, refinished and repainted some of our wooden garden platforms, and has helped organize some of our extra storage clutter, etc.  She does great work!  Goes above and beyond!  She’s neat and really gets each job done completely!  Also, she’s hilarious!  I enjoy having her over to help us.  She’s a pleasure!  Highly recommend.

We have a Viking double-oven that I was just about to trash and replace with something else.  It couldn’t hold its temperature!  We called a Viking-authorized technician to come over and he wasted so much of our time trying to tweak the thermostat and all kinds of things.  I thought I was going to lose my mind!  And it still didn’t work when he left.  And he gave us a huge bill!  He said he’d need to remove the whole oven to fix it, at a phenomenal price!  Then I heard about Theresa through a friend, and so I called her.  She came over and looked at the problem.  She did some research and determined that the culprit was the door hinges.  We ordered them, and she came back with her whole kit.  Fixed it right there in the kitchen.  She was very clean and careful.  She had all the right tools.  It only took her about an hour and a half.  Now it holds its temperature perfectly!  She was very pleasant to work with, and very reasonably priced.  We saved so much money and hassle going with her.  She’s great!

I had a big desk coming to me online but I didn’t have time to put it together.  Theresa came over to assemble it and we have a bunch of really huge dogs that freak other people out.  She was so good with them.  They had a great time with her and she put the desk together really quickly even though the instructions were really bad.  The desk is up now for me and my work.  Thanks to Theresa!  She was really sweet.  I’ve been telling a bunch of my friends about her.  Hoping she gets lots of work.

Thanks for all the good work Theresa!  I saw skunks coming in and out from under our house at night and in the morning, but our regular handyman couldn’t spare the time to fix the gaps in the screens all around the house.  I was surprised by your determination and over-achiever attitude to make sure all the screens were vermin proof and solid.  Then you did your light and noise treatments and the skunks all left.  We’ve tested.  Now the crawlspace is creature free.  Much appreciated!

…She is a family friend, and I knew she has an architectural background.  We needed to have a whole home generator put into our house because we have had so many power outages, especially on peak hot times in summer.  She came over and talked to us and heard all our concerns and then took a bunch of time (off the book) to figure out what we needed to do to keep power on during an outage.  She filed all the plans and design with the LADWP, who got back to us eventually and approved us. Now after installation we have power for both of our buildings from the same auxiliary generator.  I’m so happy we don’t have to sweat in the dark next time!  Theresa is really a great person to work with.  She takes a lot of time to listen to the issues and has the patience to go through the process with the city.  Good job!

We have been planning on expanding our house since we moved in.  Theresa is a friend in the neighborhood, who used to work in architecture, so we asked her to advise us with design options.  She listened to our thoughts and needs and gently helped us both sync our ideas together. Sometimes it’s hard to put words around images of space and design but she really helped us frame our biggest concerns and dreams. She showed us the limits of our lot due to setback regulations, and also warned us about the distance we’d need to leave around the big tree we love so much and want to keep. Later, she drew up three possible approaches for our new master bedroom addition, and presented them to us with a lot of patience, so we understood the options and the positives/negatives of each.  When we later consulted with a registered architect, we were disappointed that they didn’t hear us out and provide us with all the options and vision like Theresa did.  Theresa gave us so much insight so we could judge for ourselves what we should choose to do in the future.  You gave us so much Theresa! Well worth the consultation fee!
